I'm not sure if the "shoe stealer" mom read my blog post from Monday. Wouldn't that be nice to think I had that kind of power. Wa ha ha! (evil laugh) But nevertheless, the shoes did appear yesterday. I stopped by the gym just to see. The mom apparently felt about about mixing them up with her daughter's shoes and returned them on Monday.
Anna was ecstatic about her purple shoes. Thank you to whomever returned them. I no longer shall refer to you as the "shoe stealer."

Shoes Found!

Hooray! My son's expensive shoes were taken at a museum. My husband was there and saw some dad pull out our shoes, then put them back in the cubby. When they went to leave, the shoes were gone. Unfortunately, these were his ONLY PAIR. We went from museum to shoe store for another pair and was I ticked. I hoped it was just a mix up and that the dad caught it from the mom when he got home. Guess what? He did! Apparently his DAUGHTER'S shoes were brown too and she wasn't old enough to point out that the ones he grabbed were three sizes larger, not dark brown and didn't have a furry trim! (I know this because hers did wind up in the Lost & Found.) The next weekend the shoes were returned, but not before my son fell in love with the new truck and rock detailed ones...
Horray! Score one for humanity :)
YEY! A happy ending !!
